My heartiest congrats to ShanShan for giving birth to her new born baby. She actually endured at total of 13hours of contraction b4 giving birth. This timing is analogous to a full ironman. Fierce man!Thought of visiting her, but we think that both Shan Shan and her husband
Vincent, would be exhausted after staying up for the whole nite. Definitely not easy becoming a father and mother.
So, what we push on is to go for a run at the East Coast. A lot of reluctance and inertia to overcome, but with a little help from Dave and Jaslin and Huimin, I finally managed to run for an hour. Along the way, I quite the sight of the SQ B777 and B747 making the approach with a strong headwind in good weather. Nice!
Following the run, we met up with Mingyun and Jeffrey for a Cafe Cartel dinner at Siglap rd. Even managed to swallow a slice of french loave at one shot while we are "guessing punches" to finish up the food. NY Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Bitter choc cake and Oreo Cheesecake. Wah, it is so nice to have a taste of all these desert cakes - lovely!
Gtg to sleep soon so as to prepare myself for tomo flight to Beijing. Xing Nian qua le!!
